An Intimate Fusion Wedding Celebration at Roundhay, Leeds Wedding Venue - The Mansion
Black tie elegance, guests dressed in fabulous jewel tones and an elegant cake of dreams for the wedding of Georgia-Mae and Fayzan who married at the beautiful Mansion. Just 15 minutes away from Leeds city centre, the Mansion is a grand historic building overlooking Roundhay Park. This was my first time at this venue, and it did not disappoint.
The couple both had separate Nikkah ceremonies, followed by a traditional civil ceremony where they exchanged the most heartfelt personal vows that had me tearing up behind my camera. As a Leeds based wedding photographer with a relaxed luxury style, this venue was just perfect- everything you need under one roof for an intimate celebration with your loved ones. The Mansion boasts the most gorgeous photo spots- a walk through the parkland with the grand architecture as your backdrop, and an elegant staircase which they opted to have adorned with ivory florals, styled by Ambience Wedding Venue Stylists.
Guests enjoyed a sun-drenched mocktail hour with canapes out on the terrace before getting everyone together for formal group photos. Something we will always cover on our pre-wedding call is your formal groups. I will advise on timings and the number of groups I advise to ensure you are spending your time with your loved ones, having fun. Whilst my photography style is editorial, luxurious and elegant, my approach is relaxed and always led by my couples, and how they want their wedding day to feel. This is YOUR day, and I want you to enjoy every minute- I never want you to remember your day as too much standing around posing for photos... not my vibe!
A mouth-watering meal prepared by My Lahore, was then served, with speeches interlaced between courses before some quick editorial style black and white portraits on the staircase and then dancing into the evening with picture perfect mocktails made by the bride & grooms' friends from the Office Saloon. Georgia-Mae & Fayzan are a perfect example of making the day so personal to them, using the Mansion as their grand blank canvas for making their wedding day exactly what they wanted it to be.
